FAQs

We coach ALL levels of athletes. From those training for their very first sprint triathlon or 10k to seasoned Ironman and marathoners looking to qualify for Kona or Boston.

Yes. There is a 6 month minimum commitment. It takes time to build a coaching relationship and get an athlete up to speed (no pun intended) with the program. If an emergency arises, of course we can chat about early cancelling.

1-1 Coaching means we are here for you when you need us. We text, chat on the phone, leave notes back and forth in Training Peaks, email, carrier pigeon- whatever works for you and whenever you need us.

Yep! We coach athletes across the country and around the world through TrainingPeaks, email, phone, and messaging.

Your training plan is made weekly (sometimes we put in 2 weeks at a time). Then we check in with you to make sure it looks okay and we don’t have to move anything around. As workouts are completed, we check in on them (data) and read your comments and make adjustments if needed.

We provide guidance for fueling training and racing, hydration, recovery, and race-day nutrition strategies. If you are looking for more daily nutritional guidance, we can recommend some registered dietitians.

100% yes. We have pre-race meetings (Zoom or phone) for big races and dial in all of your metrics, pacing strategies, nutrition and more. We will go over the course and all things race day as well.

We use many different metrics- from heart rate, to pace, to power, to RPE (rate of perceived exertion). This depends on the sport and on the athlete.

Use our contact form and get in touch. We always have a phone conversation first just to make sure we are a good match
